Network Upgrade Project Status
ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College is undergoing a multi-year project to upgrade the wired and wireless networks campus wide. The project’s goal is to replace aging infrastructure, improve WiFi coverage and accessibility, increase reliability and network bandwidth. The project implementation plan calls for scheduled upgrades of individual buildings. These upgrades are scheduled throughout the year to minimize disruption to the occupants.
In upgraded buildings, the wireless network names change from "ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó1x" to "ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó" (for community members) and "ÈËÆÞÓÕ»óXenia" to "ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó Guest" (for campus visitors). Devices connected to the new wired network require authentication. When plugging into ethernet for the first time, an “802.1x network authentication” window will appear prompting for your ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó credentials. Learn more about connecting to the new network.
