Dear ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó Community,
Along with over 150 higher education institutions and organizations, ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College has signed this statement released by the American Association of Colleges and Universities speaking out against federal government overreach and political interference on our campuses and in our classrooms.
This is one of the actions I am taking as ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College president to respond to federal actions that are negatively impacting our campus and our community. Last week, ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College also signed on to an amicus brief challenging visa revocations, detentions, and deportations.
I firmly believe that education is the practice of freedom in an equitable and just democracy, and I will continue to work to protect and stand up for ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College’s values.
